From breathtaking clears to rainy celebrations, the FEI Show Jumping World Championships in Aachen, Germany, delivered all the drama and excitement you’d expect from the sport’s biggest stage.

Germany earned team gold on home soil, while Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat captured the individual title with Dynamix de Belheme.

“Simply said, I had goosebumps in the ring,” said Daniel Deusser after the final day of team competition. “It’s the result of a long journey this year. As Germans, it’s really unbelievable. You cannot describe it.”

But beyond the medals and results, there were plenty of other moments worth remembering. Here’s a look back at some of our favorite photos from Aachen.
