We’re curious about this mysterious crop topic!

1. When you need to carry a crop in your “off” hand, can you use it as well as your dominant hand?

2. If you answered no, are you left-handed?

After polling a small group of riders at my barn, those who were left-handed (myself included!) reported not being able to use a crop as effectively in their right hands. The right-handed riders, however, said they had no problem carrying a crop in their left hands.

Take our quick poll, and we’ll report on the results to find out if both left- and right-handed riders tend to have this problem or if it’s a southpaw thing!
