Sharon White, Pan American Games team silver medalist and five-star eventer, explains how to ride the stretchy circle. She works with a student on a young horse to obtain a beautiful stretch, discussing the input from the rider and how to ask for a forward stretch. After picking the horse up, the rider maintains the stretch into the bit.
Sharon is a five-star eventer who has competed at the Kentucky, Lühmuhlen and CCI5*-L events. She has represented the U.S. on FEI Eventing Nations Cup teams and earned team silver at the 2023 Pan American Games. Sharon runs her training and sales business out of Last Frontier Farm in Summit Point, West Virginia.
